So far so good! You need to put two AA batteries in it. Per the instructions leaflet that came with it, you just step on it & it comes on & tells you your weight in kilograms. It appears to be auto – power on when you step on the scales to weigh yourself. It switches itself off 10s (seconds later). It does not appear to have an ON-OFF BUTTON..
